Privacy
Your files stay on your device
Noise Remover runs entirely in your browser. The video or audio you choose is read, cleaned and saved on your own computer or phone. It is never uploaded to us, and we cannot hear or see it. Closing the tab clears it from memory.
What we collect
- Anonymous usage events. For example: the page was opened, a file was chosen (audio or video, and a rough length such as "2 to 10 minutes"), the preview ran, which strength was used, whether the checkout was opened and whether a payment completed. Events carry a random anonymous ID that lives in your browser. They contain no name, no email, no file name and no file content.
- Country. Our host, Cloudflare, tells us the country a request came from. We do not store your IP address.
- Where you came from. The first time you visit we note the referring site and any campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source), so we can tell which pages bring useful visitors.
- Abuse limits. To stop automated checkout abuse we keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your network address for a short time and delete old entries regularly. It cannot be turned back into your address.
- Messages you send us. If you use the contact or refund form we store the name (optional), email, message and receipt reference you typed, so we can reply.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us. Stripe asks for your email to send a receipt and keeps it. We receive the payment status and amount, and we do not store your card or your email from the payment.
What is stored in your browser
- Local storage: the anonymous ID, the first-visit source, and a note that a given file was unlocked (so you are not charged twice for the same file in the same browser).
- Cache storage: the noise-removal engine (about 57 MB) so the next visit loads fast.
- Cookies: we do not set any. Stripe's checkout page sets its own.
You can clear all of this in your browser's site settings at any time.
Who else is involved
Cloudflare hosts the site and stores our usage events and messages. Stripe processes payments. When the bot check is switched on, Cloudflare Turnstile runs on the checkout and contact form.
Deleting your data
Usage events are anonymous, so we usually cannot find yours. Messages you sent us can be deleted on request. You can email support@removebackgroundnoiseonline.com or use the form below. Ask via the contact page.
